Petone Beach Clean Up

The Petone Beach Clean Up Crew and Keep Hutt Valley Beautiful are helping to keep our region gorgeous by cleaning up Petone Beach.

The western end of Petone Beach is a catchment area for plastic that is washed in by tides and can harm wildlife!

A great way to make a positive impact to your community and our environment is to help collect this waste! Every piece of plastic and rubbish collected is one less piece for marine life to consume or become entangled in.

If you’d like to help out, head down to Petone Beach at 10am on May-1st. The Petone Beach Clean Up Crew and Keep Hutt Valley Beautiful will be near the Waterski Clubrooms, just look for the flags.
Enter at Hōniana Te Puni Reserve and drive down to the large carpark area at the end.
